Description

Straws sewing needles are the same as Sharps sewing needles but longer.

Straws are fine hand sewing needles with a short round eye and a sharp point. Excellent for basting, gathering and decorative stitching. Straws go through the fabric quickly and easily. They are also called Millliners because they were traditionally used in hat making. Because the needles have a gold-colored eye, it is easier to pull the yarn through the eye.

The ReStyle Straws hand sewing needles are made of high-quality carbon steel and are finished to meet the highest quality standards.

The packaging is plastic-free and resealable so that the needle can be put back in the packaging after use.

This package contains 10 needles from sizes 3 to 9:

A needle assortment in a compact box is a handy and versatile set that contains different types of needles for various sewing projects. They have a small, round eye and are ideal for precision work. They are often used for quilting and other fine sewing tasks where accuracy is important. Their short length allows them to pass easily through multiple layers of fabric without bending. Sharps needles are standard sewing needles that are slightly longer than betweens and have a narrow eye. They are sharp and thin, making it easy to pierce fabrics. They are suitable for general sewing, such as dressmaking, mending, and fine handwork. They are versatile and can be used on a wide range of fabrics. Short darners are similar to sharps but slightly longer and with a larger eye, making it easier to thread thicker yarns. They are ideal for darning socks and other repair work. They are also suitable for embroidery with thicker threads and other coarser sewing tasks. Tapestry needles have a large, long eye, making it easy to thread thicker yarn or multiple strands. These needles have a blunt tip instead of a sharp point, preventing the yarn from splitting and protecting the fabric. They are mainly used in embroidery, such as cross-stitch and tapestry work, where thicker yarns and sturdy fabrics are required. Ideal for working on coarse fabrics such as canvas, aida cloth, and linen, where a blunt tip is necessary to guide the yarn without damaging the fabric. All these needles are made of high-quality carbon steel and are finished to the highest quality standards, providing a perfectly smooth and glossy surface to ensure that sewing or embroidery is a pleasant and effortless experience. The gold-plated eye makes threading the needle easy.
